This work is based on the story of the soldier and the princess from the film Cinema Paradiso. The story is about a poor soldier who fell in love with a beautiful princess. The princess was impressed by his deep love for her and challenged him to wait for 100 days outside her window. If he would still be there after 100 days, she would become his wife. The soldier stayed movingless at her window inspite of bad weather, hunger and stinging bees for 99 days. Then he went away.
